Controversies
In 2019, Tyquan involved in a controversy when a music video featuring her performing a sexually suggestive dance with a child model that people widely condemned.
The video, titled “Lollipop,” posted on Tate’s YouTube channel and quickly drew criticism for its sexualized content. Many viewers felt that the video looked inappropriate for children, and some voiced concerns that people could construe this as child pornography.
Tyquan Anderson later issued an apology, saying that she had not intended to cause any harm with the video and that she would be more careful in the future. She also deleted the video from her channel.
